Innovation is our top priority. We rely on creative ideas, new concepts, and cutting-edge technologies to continuously improve our products and processes. We accept no compromises when it comes to ensuring the best possible product quality and the greatest possible resource conservation, which are essential, for example, for our solid wood components (Pollmeier Components). Therefore, the use of high-performance scanners in our cutting systems is essential. As part of an investment project for a new cutting system at our headquarters in Creuzburg, and under the motto „Being the first choice for our customers," we became aware of enigmasoft, a company dedicated to the development and implementation of measuring and testing systems of the highest quality.
After extensive preliminary testing, direct performance comparisons with existing scanners from various manufacturers, and ensuring process reliability, we first invested in an iQ-specta (quality and optimization scanner) and then, after extensive testing in the production environment, in additional scanners. A RIP and two CHOP scanners now control our new high-performance cutting system in Creuzburg. With the iQ-specta, enigmasoft has provided us with a technology that enables us to significantly further increase and stabilize our very high-quality standards.

iQ-specta / An investment in product quality and sustainability
Enigmasoft is dedicated to the development and implementation of measurement and inspection systems of highest quality. We have over 20 years of expertise in technology development, mechanical engineering, and software development for the wood industry.
Our system is used for the further processing of hardwood and softwood in longitudinal feed. It is available in various versions depending on product dimensions and the number of scanning levels. The iQ-specta acts as a link to the internal order management system (e.g. SAP, ERP or control system) and, as the “master”, takes over the control of downstream high-performance rip saws, cross-cut saws or quality sorting systems.
The iQ-specta scanner is a fully enclosed machine that requires no external transport devices or feed-through systems and can begin full, multi-shift operation within a short time after delivery.
Purely analytical evaluation algorithms and additional logical parameters enable easy system configuration while guaranteeing the best and fastest evaluation and optimization results on the market. No complex labeling, such as supplying neural networks with comparison images or patterns is necessary, and there is never a „black box“ created, neither for the user nor for the developer. The iQ-specta has low energy consumption and offers full access to all components. Furthermore, the system features automated calibration and a slip-free board and slat guide.
